How It Works
How to Bring Southside Blooms to Your Community
Southside Blooms is growing — and your city could be next!
Our “Southside Blooms Come To You” program is designed to help inner-city communities across the U.S. create local impact through
flowers — providing jobs for at-risk youth, promoting sustainability, and transforming neighborhoods.
A Strong Customer Base
- Commitments for at least $720,000 in annual local flower subscriptions (around 1,000 monthly subscribers).
- Support from at least 25 event venues, contributing $500,000+ in yearly floral event sales.
Youth Pipeline
- Partnerships with at least 10 youth organizations ready to refer participants.
- A waiting list of 150 youth (ages 16–25) eager to join the program.
Retail Flower Shop
- A storefront or funded location in an inner-city neighborhood, ready to open within 6 months of selection.
Land Access for Farming (Optional)
If your community has available land for flower farming, that’s a huge advantage! While it’s not required, having access to growing space can expand local impact — supporting eco-friendly practices, job creation, and year-round flower production.
